beautiful

I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your
eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
You're beautiful

I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It's all proclaiming who You are
You're beautiful

I see You there hanging on a tree
You bled and then You died and then You rose again for me
Now You are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You're beautiful

When we arrive at eternity's shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We'll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we'll sing
You're beautiful

First post, talking about birthdays, and other things.

Let them eat cake!

I don't know...I thought it was fitting since the picture is a cake
...cheese cake to be exact.

Yesterday was my birthday. I turned 17.
I don't feel any older and I imagine I won't feel any older when I turn 18 next year.

I don't know if I'm doing this blog thing right or not. Are we suppose to right about our feelings? Well, I'm not laying on a couch with a shrink asking me what I dream about...so I don't think it's all about that. Am I suppose to right about certain events? What if one day there isn't anything interesting to write about? What am I gonna do then? I'll write: "Today, I woke up, put on my slippers, stepped on my cats tail and fell into the wall..."

Whatever. I'll get the hang of this sooner or later.
